Milwaukee Tool is an older power tool manufacturer with years of stability and a reputation for durability in their tools. Their saws are rugged yet refined enough to be used in trim work, or rough framing. They have one of the best and longest warranty on the market, which says alot about the quality of their cutting tools. We are going to look at 3 of the circular saws made by Milwaukee
Milwaukee 6390-21 15-Amp Tilt-Lok Circular Saw
This 7 1/4 saw can handle bevel cuts up to 50 degs and a cutting depth of 1-11/16″ at 50 deg. We really like the visibility and a clear sight line from either side of the blade when cutting, and the exhaust does not throw sawdust in your face. There are up to 8 different settings for the handle (Tilt-Lok see image) that will adjusts to any type of cutting application (ergonomic grip) that makes it comfortable and gives better control. The rubber front handle that is also use to set the degs for bevel is soft and easy to grip. Once this saw gets cutting in a straight line it is easy to control, giving you a making great cut. I love using this Milwaukee circular saw

This comes with case, blade, wrench. It also has 143 customer reviews at Amazon (4.4 out of 5 stars) The value of this saw for the price of $260-$169 makes it our #1 choice. This is also my personal saw that I use the most, the long term quality is there in this one and the price makes it the best buy.
Milwaukee 6477-20 7-1/4-inch Worm Drive
This saw is more for framing and is heavier than most at 19.5 pounds. The worm drive has the blade located on the left side of the saw. This saw also requires oil to be add (for the gears in the worm drive) has a 15 amp motor, with 4400 rpms. This is a hoss of a saw and will not bog down and has much torque. It has a composite base shoe that will not warp. More of a specialized saw setup for framers that know how to use the weight to make the saw easier to use. I have seen them used in finish work but at 19 pds you can get lighter saw for that job.
-Warranty 5 yrs
